Every number on this site describes decisions made by people you can email or call. Here is who they are and how to reach them, at both the City of Elmira and Chemung County — from their own official directories.

A short, specific email from a named constituent carries real weight. Include your name and street address (so they know you live in the city — and, for councilmembers, in their district), stick to one topic, and say what you'd like them to do. Assume anything you send an elected official can become part of the public record.

Chemung County Government
